Happy Sunday everyone! Ready for another week of distance learning? I have uploaded this week's assignments to the Google Classroom.
Thanks to those of you who filled out the "Check In Survey" I posted on Friday. If you haven't had a chance to do so, please try to find some time. You can access it here.
The results so far are pretty interesting. About half of you are finding the workload just about right, and about half of you are finding it a bit too much. I want to reiterate, again, that my intention is for you to work through this stuff at your own pace. Everyone's situation is different, so please don't get too stressed if you're not getting everything done. Just give it an honest effort and I am happy! Whatever you do, please don't disappear. Keep in touch and as always, reach out if you need help with anything. All questions are good questions!
I've done a few different things this week, and I'm hopeful that you might find it a nice change. I've introduced a STEAM challenge in our Language work that you can chip away at throughout the week, and the last few days of math are devoted to trying to produce a "Graphing Story" that includes a video and a graph. I'll be in touch with some help on that later in the week. We can also discuss it during our Google Meets on Tuesday.
That's all for now. Have an awesome week. I will be in touch Tuesday morning with our Google Meet links. And if you get this right away (I'm about to send it at 5 pm Sunday), stick your head outside in about a half hour - apparently the Snowbirds are about to fly overhead!
Talk to you soon... you're doing a great job!
