Hello everyone! This is a picture of the Zoom Easter visit I had with a bunch of my relatives. Can you find me? Did anyone else do something like this on the weekend? I hope you all had a fun holiday, regardless of the weird situation we all find ourselves in.
I have uploaded this week's Math and Language assignments to our Google Classroom. The format is the same as last week. Follow along in the Slideshows, do the work at your own pace, when asked enter your answers into the Docs, and turn in the Docs to me at the end of the week.
To change things up this week, I'd like to give Google Meet (also known as Hangout) a try. I'm going to schedule our first class meeting for 11 am tomorrow (Tuesday). Hopefully you'll all be out of bed at that time! I will send out a link to our Classroom about 10 minutes before the meeting. Please be ready for it. I won't be doing any teaching, we'll just have a quick check-in to see how everyone is doing. If you can't make it at that time, I totally understand. Don't stress... I will arrange more Meets in the future. For tomorrow I will try to gather our whole class together, but in the future we might find it easier to meet in smaller groups.
Thanks to everyone for putting so much time in on IXL last week! As of tonight we have answered almost 4,500 questions as a class! I'll include the "leaderboard" down below as well. I think we'll reset and start a new one for this week, just to give everyone a chance to catch up. To those students on our current leaderboard, way to go!
That's all for now. Please keep in touch throughout the week as you work your way through the assignments. And please remember to check into Google Classroom shortly before 11 am tomorrow to receive the Google Meet link.
I hope everyone is healthy and safe, and continuing to make the most of your time at home. I look forward to seeing your faces tomorrow!
